Beyond Bazaar Limited, trading as ‘Charity Shop Exchange’ provides the charityshopexchange.com website to facilitate a subscription service.
Charity Shop Exchange has relationships with UK-based Charity Shop Operators who take responsibility for fulfilling and dispatching orders. Therefore, we recommend that before placing an order you are happy with the Terms and Conditions and the Charity you choose to engage with as we cannot give any guarantee or warranty as to the products supplied by charities.

The website charityshopexchange.com ("the website") is owned and operated by Beyond Bazaar Limited, trading as 'Charity Shop Exchange'. References to "we", "us", or "our" are references to Beyond Bazaar Limited. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12583240).
We reserve the right, from time to time, with or without notice to you, to change these Terms and Conditions at our sole discretion. The Terms and Conditions applicable to your access to and use of the Charity Shop Exchange website and service will be the version that is current and displayed on the website as at each date you access the website.
In order to purchase products from the website, you will be registering an account with us as part of the checkout process.
In order to register an account you must be an individual and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you are registering on behalf of an organisation or company you must have the authority to bind that company. By creating an account, you are confirming that you are 16 years of age or older.
You warrant that all information you provide to us when registering an account is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge and belief. It is your responsibility to ensure the information in your account is updated regularly with any relevant changes.
We may refuse at our absolute discretion any application to join us or receive our services for any reason whatsoever.
You are responsible for all activities and purchases that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately if you know of, or suspect, that anyone has obtained access to your account or if you otherwise become aware of any unauthorised use of your account or other security breach.
Whilst signing up to receive a regular delivery of books and/or DVDs you will be registering an account on our website.
By accessing your account you can manage and make changes to your orders at any time.
The website allows you to review your order and make any corrections before submitting it to us and by submitting the order you confirm that you have made any such corrections. You are given the opportunity to change the items you select and the frequency of recurrence; either monthly, fortnightly or weekly.
The website allows you to review your order history. You can do this by logging into your account and clicking on the relevant section of the website.
Your submission of an order amounts to an offer to enter a contract to buy the products from us, on a subscription basis; you cannot then withdraw or cancel your first order delivery except as specifically stated in these Terms and Conditions.
No order is accepted from you until our website displays an order confirmation message.
On receipt of your order, we will send it to the relevant charity shop operator and will notify you by email that your order has been received and is being processed.

The price of products is as quoted on the website at time of purchase.
Upon acceptance of your order your credit or debit card will be billed at checkout for your first delivery only. You will then be billed on a recurring basis every week in which a delivery is scheduled. The amount your card will be billed in any given week will be the value of your order for the given week.
If you wish to change the scope of your subscription after we accept your order, we will modify the charges accordingly at the time of the next payment cycle.
We take payments by continuous payment authority using your debit or credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express payments.
Where any payment you make is not authorised, your order will not be processed or communicated to the relevant Charity.
You agree not to hold us responsible for banking charges incurred due to payments on your account.
We reserve the right to change the fees for any services at any time. We agree to notify you at least 30 days in advance of any change in fees. Please note that you can cancel at any time.
Our charity partners will determine whether your order will be delivered by Royal Mail or by their selected courier company and only deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland); this excludes PO Box addresses and BFPO addresses.
Together with our charity shop partners we try our best to ensure punctual delivery. However we cannot guarantee the exact delivery date.
You will not hold us responsible for any delays, outside our control, which relate to deliveries. In the event of a delay by Royal Mail or a courier, we are unable to offer a refund or to resend your delivery.
We are unable to provide delivery notifications for Royal Mail orders. We do not obtain proof of delivery.
We cannot guarantee that delivery instructions will be followed.
Our charity shop partners reserve the right to use alternative delivery methods without prior notification.
It is your responsibility to report all lost or undelivered boxes online within 7 days of the expected day of delivery. Failure to do so will result in the lapse of any rights to a refund.
If your box does not fit through your letterbox and you are out when it is delivered, your postal carrier should leave a card at the address with information about collection or re-delivery. It is your responsibility to contact them to arrange receipt of the box as soon as you can. The postage provider will hold the box for a reasonable period of time before returning it to the sender. We cannot be held responsible for refunding or replacing the box if this process has not been followed.
If you change address, you must update your address details in the relevant section of the website to ensure that boxes are not sent out to the wrong address. Please ensure this is done in time to take effect before you move as you will not be refunded or credited for any boxes posted to the previous address.
We reserve the right to cancel your account with us if it becomes apparent that, in our sole opinion, the postal service in your area is too unreliable.
If you are dissatisfied with any item you receive from us, please contact our customer services team at email@example.com. We retain the right to request a return of any faulty goods by recorded delivery.
We offer a no quibbles returns policy, which begins from the date you received the goods. You have 14 days from receipt of your item to notify us you wish to return it, then have 14 days from notifying us to return the item. If you contact us outside of the 14-day period or fail to return the item to us within 28 days we will not refund the order.
When you send your item back to us we will process the returned item and offer you the choice of a replacement, a credit to your account, or a refund. If we find that the item has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item.
You should not return your items to your chosen charity shop unless we explicitly say otherwise.
As a consumer, you will always have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described. These legal rights are not affected by our returns policy or these Terms and Conditions. Advice about your legal rights is available from www.citizensadvice.org.uk or your local Citizens' Advice Bureau.
If you wish to change your subscription, please do so via the "Manage account" area of the Charity Shop Exchange website. You can pause or cancel a subscription at any time by providing 5 days notice before any intended delivery within your subscription plan. In such circumstances the pause or cancellation will take effect without charge. Where notice is provided after that time, please note you will still receive and be charged for your next delivery, but your pause or cancellation instruction will take effect after that delivery.
Our subscriptions are intended to be ongoing with multiple deliveries, and whilst you are welcome to pause or cancel at any time, we reserve the right to cancel subscriptions if we consider this is being abused.
To ensure that we can communicate effectively with both customers and recipients, it is very important that you provide accurate personal information.
During the checkout process, we ask for the following personal information:
Customer's email address. We use this information to provide a better customer experience by sending order confirmations, dispatch confirmations and delivery confirmations. We will also use the customer's email for marketing communications from time to time.

Although we aim to offer you the best service possible, we make no promise that our website services will be available all of the time, meet your requirements or be fault free. If a fault occurs in the service, please report it to us and we will correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can.
Your access to the website may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will restore the service as soon as we reasonably can.
You understand that Charity Shop Exchange does not manufacture, store or inspect any of the items sold through our service. We provide the website and mechanism for charity shop operators to supply items directly to you, so Charity Shop Exchange can’t and does not make any warranties. You release Charity Shop Exchange from any claims related to items sold through our services.
Whilst we agree to use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Charity Shop Exchange service is fully operational and error-free we cannot guarantee this and, therefore, accept no responsibility for any interruption of the Charity Shop Exchange service and shall be released from our obligations under these Terms and Conditions in the event of any cause beyond our reasonable control which renders the provision of the Charity Shop Exchange service impossible or impractical.
In no event shall we be liable to you for any business losses. Any liability we do have for losses shall in no circumstances exceed the price paid to us for the order in question (defined as an individual delivery within a particular week, not an entire subscription). Please note that this does not affect your statutory rights.

Disputes arising from your use of this website and the services we provide are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
You agree that we may assign any of our rights and/or transfer, sub-contract or delegate any of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions to another entity, but will make reasonable endeavours notify you by posting on this webpage if this happens. These Terms and Conditions are personal to you and you may not assign any of your rights or transfer, sub-contract or delegate any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
